Astrodome was an unfinished project from 1987, heavily inspired by Sanxion. It was intended as a classic side-scrolling shooter with smooth scrolling and music in the style of Rob Hubbard. Your ship moves steadily through the levels, with left and right movements adjusting the scroll speed. However, you cannot shoot or collide with the enemy waves, as these were only mock-ups for testing. The map simply loops while the music plays. The demo was mainly created to test parallax scrolling and block mapping, but the project was abandoned early on, leaving Astrodome as nothing more than a preview.
