| "Atlantis" is a game developed for the Commodore 64 as a Christmas gift for the community. It is a reinterpretation of the original "Atlantis" game for the Atari 2600. The sunken city of Atlantis is under attack by waves of hostile Gorgon ships equipped with weapons to destroy parts of the city. You are responsible for the defense posts on the edge of the city and must fend off the attackers. The Gorgon ships fly in varying patterns and altitudes, gradually descending lower. If they reach too low an altitude, they can destroy buildings in Atlantis. As the game progresses, the enemies become faster. The game ends when all the city's buildings are destroyed. |
