| Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday tells the story of the legendary pilot who, after a failed Cold War mission, fell into cryogenic sleep for centuries and awakens in the 25th century. By then, Earth has decayed and is exploited by the powerful RAM alliance, while only the rebel group NEO fights for freedom. Buck Rogers joins them, becoming a symbol of resistance. At the start, you assemble a party of six characters chosen from various classes and races to join NEO's struggle. The game takes you across the solar system, where you land on planets, face hostile ships, and encounter mercenaries. Exploration blends map overviews, pseudo-3D navigation, and isometric battle screens. Combat is turn-based and demands tactical planning as you strive to liberate Earth from oppression. |
