Convention Blues is a classic text adventure in which you play an inexperienced adventurer trying to find ten hidden treasures in an old house. Your goal: gain enough confidence to attend your first adventurers' convention. The game uses the traditional verb-noun parser – you enter commands like “GET KEY” or “UNLOCK DOOR” and explore the mansion room by room. Created by Dorothy Millard as a first BASIC programming exercise, the game was released into the public domain. A charming, beginner-friendly adventure full of heart and learning spirit.
