"The Election Game" is a political strategy game based on a general election in British politics. The aim is for one to four players to bring a party (Conservative, Labor, Liberal Democrats or Independents) into government. Each player starts with £8,000 and must visit as many constituencies as possible out of 60 and canvass for votes.

The North American release was called Candidate and the choice was about the 1984 US presidential election.
