There are 50 sub-universes, each consisting of a central core (Nucleus) surrounded by 32 orbits (Orbitals). The sub-universe is called Aither. The objective of the game is to enter the Aither with your ship and destroy enough Orbitals to disable the Nucleus. Before the Nucleus dies, it spits out a Morphi, which will give you bonus points and money if you destroy it. Before launching your ship from the base, you can buy or sell hulls and weapons, or even scrap the ones you don't need. The game is displayed from a top-down view of your large ship. Once you leave your base, you can move freely in all directions. On the screen, you'll see your score and a small radar showing the position of the Orbitals and the Nucleus. As you progress further in the game and purchase more hulls and weapons, your ship becomes larger, eventually filling almost the entire screen.
