| "Explode" is a two-player board game for the Commodore 64, based on the BBC Micro game "Hexplode." It is played on a hexagonal grid where players take turns placing pieces. Pieces can only be placed on empty spaces or spaces already occupied by the player. When the number of pieces on a space equals the number of adjacent spaces, the space "explodes," distributing the pieces to the neighboring spaces, which can then come under the current player's control. Chain reactions are possible. The goal is to remove all of the opponent's pieces from the board. |
