Exploding Atoms is a thrilling two-player strategy game that shines with surprising twists, especially toward the end. On a 6 x 8 grid, neutral atoms and each player's starting atoms are placed. Players take turns adding electrons to their own or neutral atoms. When an atom reaches a critical number of electrons and receives one more, it explodes, distributing electrons to adjacent fields, which then take on the player's color. The goal is to control all atoms on the grid. The more the atoms fill up, the more unpredictable and tactically intense the game becomes.
