“Fighter Command” is a strategy game that recreates the Battle of Britain in 1940. You take command of either the British RAF or the German Luftwaffe. As the Germans, you plan attacks on British airfields, radar installations, and industrial centers to weaken the RAF. As the British, you defend these targets by intercepting incoming aircraft. Daily reports on weather, reconnaissance, readiness, as well as statistics on squadron strength, losses, morale, and experience assist your planning. A map of southern England facilitates strategic navigation. You can play Eagle Day, 10-day phases, or the full 34-turn campaign.
