| Fortress of the Witch King combines strategy and role-playing elements. The basic premise is to build an army to attack the Witch King's fortress. Encounters are presented in text form, but there is a map screen that provides an overview of the landscape. You must gather enough gold to hire wizards, warriors, scouts, clerics, and marauders by defeating bands of roaming monsters and henchmen. Additionally, a number of artifacts and special items must be found before you can enter the fortress. |
