| Fortress pits two rival lords against each other in a battle for control of the countryside. You play as either the White or Black lord on a 6-by-6 grid. Across 21 turns, you can build new castles or reinforce existing ones. Battles are decided by comparing castle strength – a stronger one conquers, while equal strength results in a siege. Reinforcing increases your fortress's power, and only careful planning and timing will let you control the most territory when the final turn ends. |
