The goal of the game is to collect all the mushrooms in the area within a given time frame (hence the hourglass symbol in the control panel) and then return to the starting point. Similar to the original "Fungus" game, the screen now scrolls to follow the player instead of just moving from right to left. However, this time you have a weapon. By pressing a specific key, you can switch between shooting and jumping modes (represented by radio buttons next to a jump and a weapon symbol in the control panel). You have a choice of six types of enemies: - Dragons - Something that looks like a frog with a strong underbite - Crazy bomber goblins (who popped out of a trapdoor, ran around, dropped a bomb, and then disappeared through another trapdoor) - Floating eyes with laser beams - Caterpillars - Some strange creatures with long legs.
