| Gorf on the Commodore MAX version takes you through five consecutive missions, each growing more difficult. In Astro Battles you defend yourself behind a shield against alien attacks in classic Space Invaders style. In Laser Attack, enemy ships swoop down while a laser cannon targets your craft. Galaxians, featured in the arcade version, sends relentless waves of attackers diving toward you. Space Warp shifts to a behind-the-ship view, with alien vessels flying in circular formations that must be destroyed one by one. The final stage, Flag Ship, has you face a single massive vessel protected by a shield – only a precise hit to its glowing core will destroy it instantly. After victory your rank increases, and the game restarts at level 1 with faster speed, bringing an even greater challenge. |
