Graham Gooch's Test Cricket - Commodore 64
| It's time to put on your bat and protective gear, wear your white clothes, and start a game of cricket. You can choose the match duration (40, 50, or 60 overs or two innings), the number of players (one or two), the difficulty level (from 1 to 9), and the game version (Simulation or Arcade). Then, you select eleven players for each team: Wicket Keeper, Slip Catcher, and Bowler. The game shows a small portion of the field from behind the bowler's perspective, with the batsmen, wicket keeper, and slip catcher visible. In Simulation mode, you control the direction of the ball when bowling, while in Arcade mode, you also control the speed. For the batsman, you can play defensively or aggressively in Simulation mode, but in Arcade mode, you always play aggressively. When the ball is hit into the field, the game switches to a side view, showing how the fielders chase after the ball. The number of runs is determined by the computer. |
