| Alphonse T. Nurd (later renamed Ivan Mop in the Bug-Byte re-release) is an assistant to the scientist Bogdan Schtunk and is curious to discover what his boss is working on. One night, while experimenting, Alphonse discovers the Atomic Particle People Splitter. Upon activating the machine, Alphonse splits into two individuals. To prevent Schtunk from noticing, he must bring his double to the Recombination Chamber. The laboratory is divided into five areas, where Alphonse must solve puzzles to progress. His double, however, enjoys its newfound freedom and tries to sabotage him. Schizofrenia is a side-view platformer where the player controls Alphonse, with points, lives, levels, and time displayed on the screen. |
