| House of Usher is a classic single-screen platformer where you explore a spooky mansion, escape from rooms, and ultimately find your way out. You begin in the main hall with ten numbered doors, which you must complete in sequence before unlocking doors X and Y to exit the house. Each room presents unique challenges: jump over chasms, dodge cannon fire or creatures, collect items, and navigate obstacles. Touching a creature or falling from a great height costs you one of three lives and sends you back to the main hall. In Room Y, a timer adds extra pressure – fail to escape in time, and you lose all your lives. Collect hearts for bonus points and escape the mansion before it's too late! |
