| "Hunt the Wumpus II" expands the hunt for the Wumpi with a faithful recreation of the classic. The player navigates a text-based cave system, hunting Wumpi by shooting arrows into adjacent rooms. Each turn, the player can move into neighboring rooms, shoot arrows, check remaining arrows, exit the cave (if near an exit), or read the instructions. Entering the same room as a Wumpus results in an immediate game over. Additional challenges include super bats that transport the player to other caves and bottomless pits that are fatal. Earthquakes can block or open passages. The player can sense dangers in adjacent rooms but cannot pinpoint their exact location. |
