Ice Buster is an arcade adventure set in the Ice Age.
First Eskimo Eddie has to make his way to Percy Penguin, who has been captured by a polar bear named Growler.
This can be achieved by navigating a series of platforms while jumping over snowballs that Growler throws at him. Eddie only has to save Percy once before he can move on to the next level.
In the second level, the entire screen is filled with ice blocks that gradually disappear, forming a maze. Percy appears in the middle of the maze. Additionally, four snow beetles appear and begin wandering the maze to kill Percy. Percy has to crush all the snow bugs in the maze with ice blocks. The ice blocks can also be melted, creating more space for Percy to fit through. Any snow beetle that touches the maze's electrified edges is dazed, allowing Percy to destroy it. |
