Implosion is a shooter where a planet is on a collision course with Earth. Now the player must infiltrate this planet to make it implode. In each level, large energy balls must be destroyed to weaken the planet's defenses. When everyone is gone, a portal will open that must be entered within ten seconds - it is unhealthy to stay there.
The enemies that attack head-on are also unhealthy. If they manage to touch the ship, its energy will decrease and zero energy will result in loss of health. Luckily, the player can shoot at them and also destroy special crystals. These break down into smaller crystals that, when picked up, reward more energy, better shields or additional points. |
