Killer Bees throws you straight into a bizarre insect war. The Beebots of the BEM civilization are invading Earth, protected by swarms of deadly killer bees. You control a swarm of white bees and must slow, freeze, and eventually kill the Beebots by stinging them. Gravestones mark their defeat, blocking the path of others. Red Beebots move clockwise, while blue ones go counterclockwise. The real threat comes from the killer bees, which attack directly and grow deadlier the longer they stay on screen – shifting from green to blue to lethal red. Your only defense is the RoSHa beam, recharged each time a Beebot is killed, following your vertical movement. Once all Beebots are cleared, you advance to the next of 26 difficulty levels. Points are awarded for stings, destroyed swarms, and slain Beebots, with bonus points at the end of each round for surviving bees.
