| "Merchant" puts the player in the role of a simple trader in the Realm of Mists, whose life takes a dramatic turn after a pirate attack. The raiders not only stole his goods but also kidnapped his woman – leaving him alive only to pay the ransom. To gather the required money, the player travels between towns, trading goods like clothing, weapons, jewelry, and food at marketplaces, buying maps to search ruins for hidden treasure, and gathering information from shady characters in inns. However, the roads are filled with dangers – including brigands that make travel hazardous. Hiring helpers to form a secure caravan is a wise choice. The game interface is menu-driven. |
