“Lost Tomb” takes you deep into an ancient pyramid, where you must navigate from chamber to chamber to collect treasures, evade traps, and defeat enemies. You are equipped with a weapon and a limited number of whips. The whip clears everything in your immediate surroundings, including enemies, traps, and even walls, while your weapon can be reloaded infinitely. The pyramid itself is hostile: linger too long in one spot or step into a trap, and the walls begin to quake and fire. Each level of the pyramid features stairs leading deeper, along with two possible exits. A map helps you plan your route, but beware of the treacherous throne rooms, which are full of traps and rarely encountered.
