| The Mad Scientist feels like a lost 80s project finally brought back to life. The game was offered to several publishers and was close to being released by Kele Line before their collapse buried the project. Thanks to an old tape and the rescue work of graphics artist Jens Christian Thomsen, it survived after all. What you get is a split-screen helicopter game heavily reminiscent of Airwolf – fast strikes, tight manoeuvres and that constant sense of almost losing control. It's easy to imagine how much chaotic fun it could have been with two players, complete with the same hair-pulling intensity Airwolf was known for. |
