| "Marines II" is a clone of "Who Dares Wins II" and tasks the player with reclaiming eight occupied settlements. In vertically scrolling levels, the player fights through enemy lines, armed with a rifle and five grenades. As enemies appear from different directions to attack, the objective is not only to eliminate them but also to rescue captured comrades tied to trees. The terrain provides strategic advantages that both the enemies and the player can use for cover and better attack coordination. Levels feature natural and artificial obstacles like rivers with narrow bridges, potholes, and railway tracks that must be overcome. |
