Market Forces is a game focused on supply and demand. At the start of each round, players receive a market analysis and clues about which goods may be in demand in the future. There are five goods: corn, bacon, coffee, orange juice, and sugar. Each player decides how much they want to buy and at what price, but this information is hidden from the other players. The amount a player receives depends on how much the other players buy and at what price. If a player bids more, they get all of the goods. Players who buy more than they can afford fall into debt and lose if they can't pay it off. In the selling phase, players sell their goods, with prices depending on supply and demand. Unsold goods are lost. The game lasts for six rounds, and the player with the most money at the end wins.
