“In 'Mega Thrusterball' you pilot your spherical unit and a drone through a vast world teeming with enemies and reactive energy sources. Your mission: locate and shut down at least 40 reactors scattered across hundreds of rooms. In single-player, you control both the Thrusterball and the drone, while in two-player mode each player takes on one role. The drone can move freely but only fire in four directions and is vulnerable to alien bullets – when hit, it becomes powerless for a short time. The Thrusterball loses energy upon contact with enemies or their projectiles, and once depleted, you lose a life – with the next loss costing you your weapons. Power-ups, traps, new weapons and upgrade credits appear throughout the game – some helpful, others hazardous. Manage them wisely to survive the chaos.”
