In 1989 Jürgen Weiland wrote a Missile Command published under the Jüggisoft label in Boss-compiled BASIC. Jüggisoft's Missile Command can be operated either by joystick or trackball, and is much faster and actually superior to the Interceptor software version in all respects, but it was probably not a commercial production, but rather a hobby project.
