“Morpheus” throws you into a universe of 50 so-called Aithers – each made up of a central Nucleus and 32 Orbitals. Your mission is to enter an Aither, destroy enough Orbitals, and shut down the Nucleus. Just before dying, the Nucleus ejects a Morphi which can be destroyed for bonus points and money. Before deployment, you can buy, sell, or scrap hulls and weapons. The game is viewed from above and allows free directional movement. A radar helps track Orbitals and the Nucleus – and as you progress and upgrade, your ship can become massive, nearly filling the screen.
