„Mr. Dig“ is a dig-and-run action game where your goal is to collect all the cherries on the screen to proceed to the next level. As you tunnel through dirt or move along existing paths, enemies will chase you – but they can only follow tunnels and can't dig themselves. To fend them off, you can throw a bouncing ball – but only one at a time – or drop an apple on them by digging away the dirt beneath it. If you get touched by an enemy, you lose one of your five lives. When all lives are gone, it's game over.
