| Omega Race puts you in the cockpit of a spaceship fighting against enemy droid ships. These leave behind mines that must be destroyed before they become a danger. The challenge peaks when the last ship of a wave attacks in a spiraling pattern. Your goal is to score as many points as possible and survive for as long as you can, as the game has no set ending. Mastery of movement is essential: your ship is controlled by rotation and thrust, and can only be slowed with reverse thrust – preventing you from firing at the same time. Hitting the screen edge causes a force wall to rebound you unpredictably, forcing you to quickly regain control to avoid crashing into enemy ships. |
