| In P.O.D.: Proof of Destruction you pilot a small spaceship across a grid that represents your civilization's power network. Movement is restricted to the four main directions along the grid lines while aliens fire relentlessly from every angle – no spot is truly safe. Their shots temporarily cut sections of the grid, limiting your movement until the lines reform. Every fourth stage switches things up with a bonus round focused purely on blasting enemies for extra points, though danger still lurks. Across 25 challenging levels, you must survive until the timer runs out. You begin with three lives, earning one extra per completed level (up to five), but time never resets after losing a life. |
