In Pottit, you play a top-down, single-screen, two-player game set on a table with four pockets in each corner. Each player has their own ball (either white or black), placed beside a red ball. The objective is to be the first to reach 50 points by sinking the red ball. Sinking the red ball gives you two points. However, there are other ways to score: you can sink your opponent's ball after the red ball has been pocketed for two points, or play the red ball after your opponent sinks their ball for one point. You also earn a point if your opponent sinks their own ball. The ball moves around the table, and you must consider its inertia when making shots. After a ball is pocketed, it will take five seconds before it reappears on the table.
