| Protector II is a side-scrolling action game that throws you into a high-stakes rescue mission during an alien invasion. You pilot a ship to fight off airborne and ground enemies while saving individual humans – first from an alien vessel, later from a city threatened by an erupting volcano. Unlike Defender, you can only carry one person at a time and must drop them into a teleporter to ensure their safety. The gameplay is continuous, with shifting missions and no level breaks. More challenging than many of its inspirations and with a deeper narrative focus. |
