| „Road to Moscow“ puts you in command of the German army on the Eastern Front of World War II, with the goal of pushing back Soviet forces. The battlefield stretches from Finland to Crimea, with east shown at the top – your troops move upward. You can play a full campaign starting in 1941 or focus on individual yearly operations: the 1941 invasion, the 1942 second offensive, the 1943 Russian counteroffensive or the 1944 battle for Poland. Each campaign spans a year, with two moves per month. The objective is to force the Soviets to abandon Moscow, Stalingrad, Leningrad and everything west of them. The game is viewed from above on a small section of the map, with units shown as icons. |
