| In Robin of the Wood, you take on the role of the outlaw Robin, whose mission is to reclaim the legendary Silver Arrow, offered by the Sheriff of Nottingham as bait in a grand archery contest. To take part, you must first acquire equipment from a tree spirit – provided you can afford it. You wander through the forest collecting money bags or persuading wealthy nobles to make a “donation.” Along the way, you encounter allies like the hermit, who heals you if you don't attack him, and enemies such as Norman soldiers, the Sheriff himself, witches, and wild boars. Armed with sword and bow, you must survive these trials, gather gold, and eventually compete in the contest to win the Silver Arrow. |
