The player controls Ronald, a bubble shooting duck, who tries to navigate a number of dangerous stages to reach the exit door. Ronald can swim in all directions and fire horizontally while underwater. While flying, gravity constantly pulls Ronald down, and he must flap to stay airborn. Ronald can fire directly downwards while flying, and he has a total of 9 bubbles per level. The player must shoot the switch on each level to open the exit door. Dangers include jumping frogs, swimming octopi, and flying birds. If the player touches any obstacle they lose a life and must restart the stage. The player starts with 5 lives.
