| "The Simpsons: Bart vs. The Space Mutants" is a platform game where the player takes on the role of Bart Simpson and must prevent the Space Mutants from invading Springfield. Throughout five levels, Bart must collect or remove objects the aliens need for their machine, such as purple items or balloons. He also needs to gather enough "proof" of their existence by jumping on them and collecting brown coins — only then will his family help him against bosses like Nelson or Sideshow Bob. The challenge is heightened by the fact that the Space Mutants disguise themselves as humans. Using his X-ray Specs, Bart can reveal their true identities. |
