| Space Invaders One Button on the C64 is a special version of the famous classic, designed to be played entirely with the joystick's fire button. You control a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen and must repel waves of aliens marching side to side while gradually descending. Clear them all to advance to tougher stages. Occasionally, a UFO passes across the top, granting bonus points if hit. Shields in front of your cannon provide temporary cover but crumble under fire and block both enemy and your own shots. With only a limited supply of cannons, survival comes down to skill and timing – and this time, everything is handled with a single button. |
