While the first game was a clone of Konami's Time Pilot, this title deviates in a few ways. However, the basic gameplay is identical. Players pilot a plane and shoot down planes to earn points. The speed is not controlled by the user and is automatically maintained at the same level. The background is endless both horizontally and vertically making it impossible to encounter an edge.

All stages are now set in space with surreal backdrops and at an unknown point in time. To advance to a new era, the player must shoot down different types of spaceships that appear from all directions. Destroying them rewards points and causes a time meter in the bottom right corner of the screen to deplete. When the meter is completely empty, all enemies disappear and a new stage is entered.
