The game Chicago: New England with 46:10 is recreated here. When kicking, the player controls strength and accuracy by pressing fire, so direction cannot be directly controlled and punts are only returned if caught at full power.
When selecting a game, a distinction is made between long and short passing games. You select the receiver when the ball is in play by moving the displayed cursor and pressing fire. When a catch is made, you can take control of any player.
In defense, the player has four main positioning strategies to choose from, setting individual markers and designating a player to simply pursue the ball carrier. Once the action begins, each individual player can be controlled. If you hold fire, you can switch that player throughout the game. |
