„Theseus and the Minotaur“ puts players in control of Theseus, the Athenian prince, as he navigates a randomly-generated labyrinth in search of the fearsome Minotaur. The maze can feature secret doors, mirror sections, and various creatures, including snakes so common they have a dedicated control key. Theseus starts with only his fists, which are sufficient for weaker enemies, but stronger weapons are required to defeat the Minotaur. Victory is only complete once the monster is slain and the player exits the maze through the original entry point – though leaving is possible at any time, whether the Minotaur is still alive or not.
