| In Xiphoid you battle your way through dark stages filled with monsters and obstacles, much like in Ghosts 'n Goblins. Even in its early preview form, the detailed graphics and first levels show the promise of an exciting adventure. Around four to five levels are playable before progress halts at a crocodile enemy. Although technically impressive, the game was never finished, as the developer spent more time on the engine than the gameplay and eventually moved on to other things. What remains is this preview, offering a glimpse of the potential Xiphoid once had. |
