| Zaxxon delivers the classic space combat experience in an isometric 3D perspective. You pilot a fighter craft through a heavily fortified base filled with gun turrets, missiles, and radar stations. Your mission is to destroy as many targets as possible while avoiding enemy fire and managing your fuel – which, paradoxically, is replenished by blowing up fuel tanks. This cartridge version differs from the UK disk release with faster gameplay, slightly altered level design, and tighter controls that more closely mirror the original arcade feel. |
