Bard's Tale 3 - Thief Of Fate, The - Microsoft DOS
The warriors who destroyed the sorcerer Mangar receive a letter as they celebrate their victory. The letter informs them of a terrible disaster: Mangar's master, the mad god Tarjan, has unleashed his wrath on the city of Skara Brae, destroying it completely. The heroes travel to a nearby refugee camp and embark on a quest to defeat Tarjan.
This is a first-person fantasy role-playing game in which the player explores maze-like pseudo-3D cities, dungeons and wilderness areas. Two new character classes have been added, there are more dungeons than in previous games and this version adds an automatic mapping feature. The game world is divided into several realms accessed by time travel, each with its own theme and setting. |
