Bard's Tale 3 - Thief Of Fate, The - Commodore 64
The warriors who destroyed the wizard Mangar receive a letter as they celebrate their victory. The letter informs them of a terrible disaster: Mangar's master, the mad god Tarjan, has unleashed his wrath upon the city of Skara Brae, destroying it completely. The heroes travel to a nearby refugee camp and embark on a quest to defeat Tarjan.
This is a first-person fantasy role-playing game in which the player explores pseudo-3D, maze-like cities, dungeons, and wilderness areas. Two new character classes have been added, there are more dungeons than in previous games, and this version adds an auto-mapping feature. The game world is divided into several realms that are accessed through time travel, each with its own theme and setting. |
