In Moonsweeper, your aim is to save the miners on the moons of the Jupiter stellar quadrant. You begin your mission in space, where you must avoid the deadly aurora, photon torches and space bullets coming from the quadrant's sun. From time to time you'll see a moon pass by, and by flying close to it you can descend to its surface. As you scan the surface, you'll see trapped miners that you'll have to rescue by flying over them. There are also various obstacles on the moon's surface that you need to avoid or destroy, such as lunar towers and satellites, as well as alien surface destroyers. If you survive and save six miners, you can lift off from the surface using the acceleration rings.
