Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom is a 2D shoot'em up in bullet hell/danmaku style. It is the 15th game in the Touhou series. For this title the player can select one from four characters: Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Sanae Kotiya, and Reisen Udongein Inaba. Reimu and the others must stop the one behind the incident with the Lunarians. The core gameplay is typical for Touhou games. The heroine is guided through a vertically scrolling environment and has to shoot enemies, dodge bullets and fight bosses.
The game has two modes: Pointdevice mode with checkpoints, infinite continues, and with the option to resume the previous game session and Legacy mode where lives and bombs are similar in use like the previous games. |
