In Run for the Money, two players control bizlings – alien traders who have crash-landed on Planet Simian and urgently need paint to repair their ship's shield. To buy the paint, they must first earn money by producing synthetic bananas (synannas) from the raw material ruf and selling them to the native Simians. Ruf prices fluctuate, requiring strategy and risk-taking. Advertising helps boost sales. Weekly charts show business performance, and a prediction machine offers insight into future trends. Players bid for paint when the paint van appears – the more paint applied to the shield, the higher the chance of a successful launch every two weeks.
