Gauntlet is a legendary arcade game and was released in 1987 on various platforms such as the Atari ST, but never officially for the Commodore Amiga. Although computer magazines of the time announced an Amiga version, it did not appear until 2012, when Philippe Guichardon created a playable Amiga version by reverse engineering the Atari ST version. The game is an action dungeon crawler known for its fast-paced gameplay and multiplayer mode. Players choose fantasy heroes such as warriors, wizards, archers or Valkyries and fight their way through dungeons filled with monsters, traps and treasure while collecting power-ups and searching for the exit.
