Caterpillar is based on the arcade hit Centipede. This version, although with very rudimentary sound
effects (basically, the equivalent of the SOUND command), does feature all of the play elements of the original arcade game,
including the scorpion and poison mushrooms. And, like a lot of Dave's games, if you dump the .BIN file, you will see hidden messages
in the code. In Caterpillar's case, check offsets $690-$6af in the .BIN file. |
